Abstract
Emotions are human thing. When people considering emotions from a strategic leadership point of view, additional individual framing factors become unavoidable and play a role in an organization management process. The aim of this paper was to explore the existing literature on emotion and strategic leadership in a systematic review. The paper was a literature review on emotion in connection to strategic leadership. The method used was search and exclusion criteria, so it made 24 relevant articles left. The texts were analyzed according to the grounded theory method to generate a new theoretical model and identified core variables of organizational emotion shapping. The model attempted to show how the interaction of individual and organizational factors with strategic leader’s task and challenges lead to emotion shapping internal and external of the organization. This literature review and theoretical integration offered a starting point for potential areas for further exploration.
